Calligraphy Sets

A calligraphy Set contains a selection or all of the pen sizes in a range of pens.

A Set of Automatic Pens has one of each size of the available Automatic Pens. These range from No.1 (1.5mm) to No.6A which is a huge 25mm. Also included are four border or scroll pens which produce two lines. The 5 line or Music Ruler (12.5mm) completes the set of thirteen pens.

Pilot Parallel Pens are similar to Automatic Pens in using two metal plates instead of a traditional nib but the Pilot Parallel Pens are also a fountain pen fed from an ink cartridge in the pen. There are four pens in the range;- 1.5mm, 2.4m, 3.8mm and 6mm. These are available singly, as a complete set of four pens or the three larger pens in a handy plastic carry case. Each set comes with a pack of mixed cartridges.

Manuscript Calligraphy Fountain Pens are made in the UK by Leonardt & Co who have been making nibs for many years for many other pen manufacturers. There is a wide range of sets from the Start Calligraphy 3 nib Set (Fine, Medium & 3B); a 5 nib set (Fine, Medium, Broad, 2B & 4B) and the De-Luxe 6 nib set (Fine, Medium, Broad, 2B, 3B, 4B). There is also a Shadow Calligraphy 4 nib Set. Each set comes with an instruction leaflet and cartridges. Nibs can also be exchanged for left handed nibs free of charge if required.

Manuscript Bronze Dip Nibs are also available in sets. The Selection Box MDP280 contains each of the 10 nibs, 2 reservoirs and a wooden penholder.

Speedball Pens (C Style) have a fixed reservoir and are available as a set of 6 nibs with penholder.

Brause Bandzug Pens are high quality German nibs with a fixed reservoir available as a set of 9 nibs.

All the traditional Mitchell and Gillott nibs are available as sets: Roundhand, Scroll, Italic, Poster, Drawing and Mapping nibs.

Rotring ArtPens now have a reduced range but are available in a set of 3 pens (1.5mm. 1.9mm & 2.3mm) The set consists of one complete pen with two nib units each with cap. A box of black cartridges completes the set.
Zig Kuretake produce high quality Calligraphy Markers. The Memory System Calligraphy Markers MS3400 are available twin tip markers (2 & 5mm) in sets of 4 or 8. The inks are water based pure pigment ink which are photo safe, acid free, archival quality, lightfast, waterproof, non-bleeding, xylene free and odourless. The Memory System MS5000 Scroll and Brush pens contain the same ink but has a 3.5mm calligraphy tip and a brush. They are available in sets of 4 or 8pens. The Staedtler Mars Professional Set of 3 (712 C3 05) is a set of 3 high quality pens (0.25, 0.35, 0.5mm) based on the classic technical pen but featuring a replaceable high-precision synthetic tip encased in a solid metal sleeve for durability. The black ink is waterbased, acid-free, fast-drying, indelible and Dry Safe - you can leave the pen uncapped for up to 8 hours without drying up. Ideal for sketching, drawing, illustrating and lettering. Refills available in all sizes.
